Drug Detection & Drug Reduction

Specialist detection sweeps combined with a reduction strategy — because finding substances once changes very little on its own.

Most providers offer drug searches. Far fewer offer drug reduction, which is the part that actually changes what happens on your premises. A single sweep tells you what was there on one day. A planned programme of visible, repeatable searches changes behaviour, and that is what we build with you.

Drug detection & reduction

Detection: what a sweep covers

Our detection dogs screen premises, communal areas, lockers, vehicles, bags and outdoor spaces. Findings are recorded clearly and handed to you in writing, with locations and circumstances, so you can act under your own policies.

Reduction: changing the pattern

Supply and use on a site persist because they are low risk. Introducing regular, unannounced screening raises that risk permanently. We work with you on frequency, timing and communication so the deterrent holds after we leave, and we review findings over time to show whether it is working.

Discretion and proportionality

Screening can be overt, where the visible presence is the point, or discreet where you need to understand a problem before acting on it. We will advise which suits your situation, your staff relations and your legal position.

Drug Detection & Reduction FAQs

Is drug screening legal on our premises?

Screening must be carried out with the appropriate consent and policy framework in place, which differs between a workplace, a licensed venue and a residential setting. We will talk that through before any deployment.

What happens if something is found?

We record the find and its location and hand it to your nominated person. Decisions on disciplinary action or police involvement are yours, guided by your policy.

How often should sweeps happen?

Irregular but frequent works best. A predictable monthly visit is planned around; unannounced screening across a varied pattern is not.
